Ability to add two way feedback for our own serial or ip devices

Hi Was wondering if you could add the ability to add our own feedback for volume etc for our own devices that are not supported.

I have added custom serail but the in ability to add the feedback is a problem. iRule had this and was easy to configure for any device be great if you could add this capability.
